Baked Apple Ham Breakfast Ring

  •        6      oz. Eckrich® Spiced Apple Ham
  •        4      oz. cream cheese, softened
  •        1      tablespoon sugar
  •    1/4      teaspoon cinnamon
  •        2      (8-oz.) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  •    1/2      large red cooking apple, peeled and very thinly sliced
  •        4      eggs, beaten


  1. Heat oven to 375ºF. Using fork, cream together cream cheese, sugar and cinnamon until smooth.
  2. Open crescent dough and separate into 8 rectangles. Arrange 4 rectangles on large pizza pan or baking sheet perpendicular from each other to form a cross with short sides in the center and an open square in middle.  Corners of rectangles should slightly overlap.  Arrange remaining 4 rectangles into an “X” that overlaps the cross, leaving an open square in the center and corners of rectangles overlapping.
  3. Gently spread cream cheese mixture around center edge of ring, about 1-inch wide. Arrange apple slices over top of cream cheese, overlapping as needed.  Top with half the Apple Baked Ham.
  4. Cook eggs in small skillet over medium heat until set, stirring occasionally to scramble. Arrange on top of ham.  Top with remaining half of ham.
  5. Bring each dough rectangle up over stacked filling, tucking dough under bottom layer of dough in center to secure it. Repeat around sandwich until entire filling is enclosed (some filling might show a little). Bake at 375ºF. for 25 to 30 minutes until dough is golden brown and thoroughly baked.  Cool 5 to 10 minutes before slicing to serve.
