Ingredients

  • ½ lb Eckrich® Ham Off the Bone, sliced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp whole milk
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 sl thick white bread
  • 4 sl Swiss cheese
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard optional
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise, optional
  • 2 tbsp fruit preserves, optional
  • Butter
  • Powdered sugar
  • Maple syrup

Preparation

  1. BEAT together the eggs, milk, and vanilla in a medium bowl  and set aside.
  2. ASSEMBLE 2 sandwiches with  the Eckrich®  ham, Swiss cheese, bread, mustard, mayo, and preserves.
  3. DIP the assembled sandwiches in the egg mixture to coat.
  4. COOK the sandwiches over medium-high heat in a large skillet with butter.
  5. REMOVE the sandwiches once golden brown and cheese has melted and dust with powdered sugar.
  6. SERVE with maple syrup.
